Introducing… our farm owners/managers; Neil and Neale (affectionately known as Charlie!).
If you’re a regular to the farm you’d likely be familiar with these faces. Actually, even if you aren't a regular and you came to pick up a tree one December 20 years ago you still might recognise these faces. Neil and Charlie have been around for years/decades/centuries.
Okay, I got a little carried away there but in all seriousness, Neil started working on Dandenong Christmas Tree Farm when he was a young buck at just age 18. This year Neil will be celebrating his 60th (just before Christmas) so that is a whole lot of Christmas’s… 42 to be exact! Charlie on the other hand came to work on the farm when he also was just a teenager and he recently celebrated his 50th; that’s over 75 years of Christmas Tree knowledge between them. These guys really know their stuff! And they’re still very hands on; pruning each tree several times a year along with lots of maintenance on the land. And they seriously care about their trees and honestly get a lot of joy out of seeing and hearing about happy customers. So if you see them amongst the trees this year; please, say ‘Hello!’.
